My client provides high quality and cost-effective technical consultancy to the Defence, Transport and Energy & Resources sectors, specialising in safety, environmental, and risk management services to investors, regulators, operators and equipment suppliers.Job Requirements
The role will involve forming effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including Managing Directors, Financial Controllers and HR contacts across a number of subsidiaries worldwide, therefore international human resources experience and knowledge of international employment law is highly desirable. The successful candidate will work in partnership with subsidiaries, as a real business player, aligning HR strategy to their key business objectives. You will be required to identify shared opportunities across the various subsidiaries, working closely with other members of the Head Office HR team, in order to deliver a more joined up HR service. To be an active and influential team member, working with subsidiaries on business issues and goals. Recruitment - Sourcing candidates, interviewing & working with Managers to appoint the best candidate according to business & team needs. Advising on aspects of Employee Relations. Become established as a source of informative, proactive HR support to subsidiaries and employees worldwide. Working on process improvement projects and initiatives. Checking payroll on a rota basis. You should be fully CIPD qualified with an up to date knowledge of employment law and a strong HR Generalist background. You will be part of the Head Office HR function, providing a timely and proactive HR service to the Group and subsidiary companies, responding to day-to-day issues as well as influencing longer term strategic people decisions and initiatives. You must have excellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular Word and Excel. In addition to the above requirements, you should be reliabile, energetic, able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, and have excellent organisation skills.
