They own and operate their own fleet and their road surfacing operations cover nationally on various Highway Schemes. Contracts can range from minor works to major motorway construction for both the private and public sector

Job Requirements

This role required regional coverage of the South East. Experienced Surfacing Estimator required Duties and responsibilities will include: - Re-establishment/maintenance of client base - Evaluation of tender documents - Preparation of cost estimates - Submission of compliant tenders and quotations - Liaison with other contracting staff in quote/tendering process and with internal supply colleagues. It would be preferential if you have previous experience of working for a contractor within highway maintenance or civil engineering sectors. Understanding of estimating for framework, partnership and scheme works is also desirable. Ideally have been involved with costings for black top, asphalt and surfacing projects and have good knowledge of local supply chain.
